Ruphine Akinyi Olal a 21 year old is compassionate about community work and development to help community members manage challenges such as Gender Based violence, illness, mental health issues and unemployment. She graduated from Maseno University with a Diploma in Social work in 2020. Ruphine have worked with Nyalenda Young Turks Community Based Organization under Mental health department where she created awareness on mental health problems and prevalence of mental health problems. She also worked with Kisumu County Referral Hospital under Medical Social Work department and gained knowledge on counselling, psychosocial assessment of clients, repatriation of patients and social rehabilitation of clients.
